How we work

1 Give us a call and we have a brief chat about your requirements.

2 We’ll ask you to send us a few photographs of your existing boiler. We’ll explain exactly what we need to see in the photos when you phone us. Normally, we’d only need to visit your home to carry out a more detailed survey if your proposed installation has any unusual features to it.

3 If your new boiler is going in the same place as your existing boiler, we can usually confirm the cost from the photographs. Assuming no extra work is needed beyond what is already included in the offer price, then the price you see on this offer page is the price we’ll quote you.

4 We’ll then email a detailed, written quotation for your consideration.

5 If you accept our quote, we’ll agree an installation date with you and have the boiler and other materials delivered to your home 1 to 2 working days before the installation date.

6 Our installers arrive, fit your new boiler to the highest standards and take away the rubbish.

7 We’ll register your manufacturer’s warranties and register the installation via Gas Safe, and then send you the documents.

8 All boiler manufacturers specify that the boiler must be serviced each year to keep the warranty intact. We’ll contact you each year to remind you that your service is due.

The prices you see on this page are accurate for around 85% of our customers.

All advertised prices are on the basis of the installation being a combi – combi swap, which is the most usual type of installation nowadays.

If your boiler is of an age whereby it needs to be replaced, it is highly likely that your current boiler was installed well before the current regulations were in place. For this reason, the prices you see also include the supply and fitting of items such as a magnetic system filter, lime scale reducer & programmable room thermostat. We also include the costs of cleaning and flushing your existing system and adding corrosion inhibitor upon completion.

Examples where additional charges might need to be added to your quotation are as follows:

If you require the replacement boiler to be fitted in a different location to the existing boiler.

If your existing boiler is a non-condensing boiler, and we need to provide condensate drainage.

If you wish to have your existing system upgraded, such as replacing some radiators or altering pipework, for example.
